1) How would cauliflower rice be a better alternative than normal rice?
Compared to regular rice, cauliflower rice contains lesser calories, and most importantly lower in carbohydrates. Malaysian food tends to be very high in carbohydrates, which could potentially harm your body by increasing your blood sugar levels.
Maintaining a sufficient daily carbohydrate intake can be difficult, hence, it is better to replace your meals with something that has lesser carbohydrates, such as cauliflower rice. In short, the nutritional value found in cauliflower is much better than regular rice. It doesn’t mean that normal rice is unhealthy, as it is a great source of energy, it just lacks a balanced nutritional value.
2) What are the benefits of consuming cauliflower rice?
With just one cup of cauliflower, it is only 28 calories and high in fibre, providing better digestion. Vegetables are also known to be rich in antioxidants and vitamins, helping to protect your body against inflammation or diseases. Eating cauliflower rice also helps you to reach the recommended daily nutritional intake.
3) Who is suitable to consume cauliflower rice?
Cauliflower rice is a great substitute for those who are diabetic or require low-carbohydrate options in their daily diet. It is also a better option for people looking to reduce their daily calorie intake or on a specific low-carb diet such as keto or Atkins.
